The Hardware Store has been a part of the Mardela springs community since 1955. Originally opened by two brothers Peeny and Slim, the tradition of quality service and hometown appeal has been carried on for over 60 years with the commitment to the customer for the best experience in a hardware store. After purchasing the store from the brothers in 1985, the new owner David had to think of a new name for the store. After much pondering he decided to keep it simple and to the point, much like how it's run today, and the name The Hardware Store was born. The moto is much like the name, simple and to the point "Where service is not a thing of past". Stop in and see what we have to offer or just take 5 minutes to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere.
